Contains notes and calculations about water-power, water-wheels and machines needed for various textile mills, including the Pepperell Mill, a cotton manufacturer in Biddeford, Maine. Also contains copies of letters written by Wetherell to William Dwight, 1850-1851, from Glasgow and Manchester, describing visits to textile mills, wages of workers, etc.
